Le Togo a confirm\u00e9 ses premiers cas en mai, avec un bilan de trois d\u00e9c\u00e8s. Face \u00e0 cette situation, le minist\u00e8re de la Sant\u00e9 togolais a activ\u00e9 un plan de riposte afin de freiner la cha\u00eene de transmission du virus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le Mpox est une maladie virale transmissible de l\u2019animal \u00e0 l\u2019homme, mais aussi d\u2019homme \u00e0 homme, notamment par contact direct avec les l\u00e9sions ou les fluides corporels d\u2019une personne infect\u00e9e. Le 17 mai dernier, le Togo a confirm\u00e9 son premier cas, une jeune femme de 22 ans r\u00e9sidant dans la r\u00e9gion du Grand Lom\u00e9, selon les informations rapport\u00e9es par Africaho. Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 imm\u00e9diatement prise en charge dans un service sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 en maladies infectieuses. Peu apr\u00e8s, deux autres cas ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9tect\u00e9s, portant \u00e0 trois le nombre total de personnes infect\u00e9es, dont deux femmes et un homme. Selon le professeur Ananou Dagnran, coordonnateur du comit\u00e9 de riposte, 55 personnes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 identifi\u00e9es comme contacts directs des cas confirm\u00e9s. Parmi elles, trois quarts pr\u00e9sentent des l\u00e9sions cutan\u00e9es caract\u00e9ristiques de la maladie, notamment au niveau des paumes des mains, un sympt\u00f4me typique du Mpox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Face \u00e0 cette alerte, une campagne de sensibilisation a \u00e9t\u00e9 lanc\u00e9e pour informer la population sur les signes de la maladie, les gestes barri\u00e8res \u00e0 adopter et la conduite \u00e0 tenir en cas d\u2019apparition de sympt\u00f4mes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cette maladie infectieuse frappe ainsi \u00e0 la porte du B\u00e9nin.
