Un r\u00e9sultat d\u00e9cri\u00e9 par les d\u00e9put\u00e9s du groupe parlementaire Les D\u00e9mocrates, qui aussit\u00f4t apr\u00e8s le vote, estiment que le scrutin ne s\u2019est pas d\u00e9roul\u00e9 dans la transparence du fait des coupures enregistr\u00e9es au sein de l\u2019h\u00e9micycle. Il est aussi not\u00e9 qu\u2019entre la proposition de cette r\u00e9vision port\u00e9e par les d\u00e9put\u00e9s Assan S\u00e9ibou et Ak\u00e9 Natond\u00e9, et son adoption en passant par son \u00e9tude en commission, le processus est all\u00e9 tr\u00e8s vite au moment o\u00f9 le peuple s\u2019y attend le moins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cette r\u00e9vision apporte de grandes modifications \u00e0 la loi fondamentale du B\u00e9nin m\u00eame si elle n\u2019a pas touch\u00e9 aux fondamentaux que sont la limitation du mandat du pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique, la la\u00efcit\u00e9 de l\u2019Etat et autres. Avec cette nouvelle constitution, le B\u00e9nin passera d\u2019un pouvoir l\u00e9gislatif monocam\u00e9ral \u00e0 un bicam\u00e9ralisme fait de l\u2019Assembl\u00e9e nationale compos\u00e9e de d\u00e9put\u00e9s \u00e9lus pour un septennat renouvelable&nbsp;; et un S\u00e9nat qui sera compos\u00e9 d\u2019anciens pr\u00e9sidents de R\u00e9publique, de la Cour Constitutionnelle, de Hauts responsables des Forces de S\u00e9curit\u00e9 et de D\u00e9fense ainsi que d\u2019autres personnalit\u00e9s nomm\u00e9es. Tout comme celui des d\u00e9put\u00e9s, le mandat du pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique passera aussi \u00e0 sept ans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Alors, c\u2019est apr\u00e8s avoir vot\u00e9 cette r\u00e9vision que les d\u00e9put\u00e9s ont entrepris d\u2019informer le peuple et une tourn\u00e9e d\u2019information est actuellement en cours dans tout le pays. Certes, les \u00e9lus ont accompli un acte qui entre pleinement dans les pr\u00e9rogatives de leur mandat. Mais au regard de la profondeur des r\u00e9formes, consulter le peuple en amont \u00e0 la r\u00e9vision aurait servi \u00e0 quelque chose.
